See Pictures Of Cristiano Ronaldo New Superfly Boot

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are often compared to each
other due to their achievements and skill level on the pitch. In addition to that, both are marketing juggernauts for Nike and adidas, respectively. Both players have custom lines of apparel and are handed special additions of flagship boots on a regular basis. Messi seems to get his early and often from adidas but when Nike come out with a new boot for Ronaldo, it's a pretty big deal.
Ronaldo's new Mercurial Superfly IV is a special-looking boot that steps outside of Ronaldo's normal bright-colored boundaries. It's a mostly stealthy look thanks to its all-black Flyknit body that shimmers in the sun or under bright lights. The effect is so pronounced that Ronaldo himself told the designers that it "looked for a 'Gala'." While the boot is almost entirely black, the Nike swoosh on the top and outstep of the boot as well as the CR7 wordmark on the instep, near the heel, which are both in white.
Speaking in Nike's release about the new boot, Ronaldo said:
"These new boots are well-suited for me because they're elegant, beautiful, and they really shine in a new and different way.
"I've always liked trying out new boots, new collections, new colors. Obviously it's a special game against a big team this week, and I'm excited to play in boots that I feel so good in."
The boot features all of the same technology as the rest of the current Superfly range with a Flyknit upper, carbon fiber outsole, Dynamic Fit collar, and stud technology. The look is also available in the Vapor silo and comes without the Flyknit upper, swapping it for a microtextured microfiber material instead. The Vapor also does not have a carbon fiber outsole.
Ronaldo gave the boot its debut in Real Madrid's 3-1 win against Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu. With Madrid down 0-1 on an early Neymar goal, Ronaldo stepped up to the spot and slotted home from 12 yards in his sleek new boots that brilliantly contrasted Madrid's white kits.
