Officials continue to assess the damage from floodwaters that have ravaged Texas and Oklahoma this week, killing at least 18 people,leaving at least a dozen others missing and stranding hundreds of motorists. And they are doing so from the air.

In Meyerland, Texas, a drone captured aerial footage of floodwaters from nearby Brays Bayou, where three people were swept away when a Houston Fire Department boat capsized Tuesday morning. At least one of them was killed, and the others are feared dead.
Meanwhile, water breached a dam southwest of Dallas, where the Associated Press reports police have called on people living downstream to evacuate.
