Peters, 71, who has been hospitalised at the Lagos State University Hospital, Ikeja, is dead.
The late Peter’s ordeal was brought to public attention by a story on him in The PUNCH, when his inability to defray his medical bills, stalled his treatment in LASUTH.
Lagos State Football Association confirmed his death on Wednesday.
