for Nigeria in various sports last year 2015 but were yet to be celebrated.
The reception was at the statehouse banquet hall today 21st January, 2016 where all the sports men and women from various sports were present and were decorated by the president.
The following were sports men and women that were decorated for wining medal for Nigeria in sports like:
1. Basketball team who won Gold at 2015 Afro Basketball tournament in Tunis, Tunisia.
2. Athletics who won medals at IPC Grand Prix in Doha, Qatar F40 Shot put.
3. Team of FIFA U-17 world cup champions in 2015.
4. Team of FIFA U-16 world cup champions in 1985.
