The NYSC is a scheme for Nigerian graduate from Polytechnic and University who are expected to serve their fathers land for a period of 1 year, NYSC was set up in 1973 by the government of General Yakubu Gowon who was the military administrator.
While addressing the corpers the president said Nigeria is one and every body should know that the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable and they should shun sectionalism or the issue of Biafra which he said it is not possible but everybody should remain focus and they should join other Nigeria to take the country to a greater height.
