Health Minister Released Updated Casualty Of Abuja Bomb Blast.

The Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, on Friday released the updated casualty figures of the recent bomb blast at
Emab Plaza in Abuja.
A statement by his Special Assistant, Media and Communication, Mr. Dan Nwomeh, quoted him as saying “a total of 24 persons died in the bomb blast at the Emab Shopping Plaza in Wuse 2, Abuja on Wednesday, out of a total number of 76 victims.”
Chukwu, who visited the victims of the bomb blast at the Maitama, Wuse and Asokoro District Hospitals and the National Hospital, Abuja, said, “20 of the victims died before they got to the hospitals while 4 died shortly after arrival.”
According to him, one of the 4 victims died in Maitama District Hospital while the other 3 died in the National Hospital Abuja
“The minister said  there are altogether 27 patients receiving treatment in various hospitals in Abuja; the others have been discharged and being treated as out-patients,” Nwomeh stated.
