Claire Sweeney and Daniel Reilly have split nine months after they
welcomed their son Jaxon into the world.
The two rekindled their romance
shortly after their exciting new arrival, but have now called time on
their relationship, although they will continue to support each other.
This is super sad news, and we wish them both all the best. :(
In a statement, 44-year-old Claire told MailOnline: "Whilst
we have decided not to remain together, we are committed to bringing up
our wonderful son and making sure we are great parents and supporting
each other to achieve that."

The two got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2012, but split in April 2014, shortly before finding out that Claire was pregnant.
The
former Brookside actress later revealed that they'd grown close and had
got back together after the birth of adorable Jaxon, who was a little
miracle after she previously suffered two miscarriages.
She told OK! Magazine: "We're
together all the time now. The priority is the baby and Daniel is here
supporting me and he is fantastic. Daniel has been living with me and
looking after me. He's been so lovely."
She also gushed about Daniel taking to being a dad like a duck to water, adding: "He’s amazing and he couldn’t be any more supportive or a better dad.
