Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Shittu a barrister at law and an activist was born about 63 years ago in the native town of Shaki

Oyo State, South west Nigeria. Alhaji Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Shittu is an activist and a solicitor of the supreme court of Nigeria, he ventured into politics when he contested for the Oyo State House of Assembly where he won and become a distinguish honorable member of the defunct Oyo State House of Assembly in 1979 during the second republic and he also serve as the honorable commissioner for internal affairs, information and culture under the Omololu Olunloyo regime in….

     Between 2004-2007 he was a commissioner for Oath under the former governor Rasheed Ladoja regime, he as defended many cases for students union of different university, polytechnic and college of education free of charge. Barrister Shittu was instrumental to the establishment of the Muslim Hospital in Shaki Oyo State. Alhaji Shittu was also a founder and proprietor of international Muslim School Shaki, Oyo State; he is a legal adviser to many associations across Nigeria.

With his wealth of experience over the years Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Shittu as written many books which are:

1.     An introduction to Islam.

2.     Islam and Christianity: Why the conflict.

3.     Islamic Ideology: Path to the democratic socialism in Nigeria.

4.     Muslim prayers for every day success.

5.     Path to paradise which was publish in 1989, just to mention few of his publication.
