It was a very colourful occasion when Vetland Old
Students Association (VETOSAN) celebrates with members and friend her yearly
end of the year party on 22nd Saturday, 2014 as the School Compound.
The occasion which started about 2.06PM in the
afternoon with the introduction of guest and followed by the School anthem
which was rendered by students present students of the School.
The events
kick off proper with the opening prayer by the Vice President of the
association Mr Olatunji Oyedele. The high point of the occasion was the arrival
of the first principal of the School Mama L.T. Latona who is now in her 70s, as
all guest and member stood up to welcome her at the occasion as they sing and
dance to welcome mama with various song.

Ogundimu use the opportunity to address the members and also launch the
association project for the School which was the ultra modern multipurpose Hall
for the School which will be build in the school compound. The Hall is expected
to take capacity of 1,000 people with offices and car parks.
The second principal was also at the occasion in
person of Mama Shonola Shoyinka who also uses the occasion to address the
members and encourage them to do more for their alma mater. The present
Principal of the School Mrs Ayerin also thanks the association for their
various projects in the school.
A lot of members give testimonies of how the school
and the principal as shape their lives in becoming what they are today. The programme
comes to end with lot to eat and dance. The closing prayer was said by Alhaji
Fatai Ayinla.
