"We Deserve To Have A King" Community Leader Cry-Out To Lagos State Government.

Our correspondent had an exclusive interview with one of the community leader in Orile Alagbado which is under Ifako Ijaiye

local government.

Newsdirect411: Can we meet you sir?

I am Mr Jamiu Taiwo, Otunba Agbenuba the son of Baale of Alagbado,  Baale Saka Taiwo.

Newsdirect411: How did you see the conduct of this election?

As you know I am a community leader here in Alagbado and we are monitoring the conduct of the election here in my own polling unit ward J unit 10 at moshalashi bus stop, to make sure there is no violence here and ever since we have been having election it as always been peaceful here.

Newsdirect411: In terms of development what can you say about this area or your ward here in Lagos State?

He decry the rate of development in his area saying there has never been any all we get is promises from government and their official every time election is approaching. He also talk about kingship in Alagbado which he said rightly belong to his community but was given to another community, he said effort are on to get their own in their area. He however said the case in still with Lagos state chieftaincy affair and they hope to get it very soon.

Newsdirect411: Hope there won’t be issue on who is going to be crown as the king?

He said there is no problem on that issue because the families have selected who is going to be crown as the king when it is approved by the Lagos state chieftaincy affair.

Newsdirect411: What did you think is going to be the outcome of the election?

We thank God over the conduct of the election and very thing is going on well for now, he said who ever come in as the president or other post let the people’s vote count and we will be very happy about any one of the candidate that emerge at the end of the day, all we want is development in our community and we will support the government too. He said he is going to stay at the polling unit till the end of the election so that thing won’t go wrong.

Newsdirect411: What are you going to do on the issue of development in your community?

He said one of the thing that pain them most is that the politician are not always keeping to their words and promises , he hope God will speak to their mind so that they remember people and the development of the area they represent.

Newsdirect411: What will you like to tell the government?

It’s our hope that we will not be forgotten and let them keep to their promises on the issue of the kingship because our community deserve it thanks.
