Serena Williams Surprise The Crowd At The New York Fashion Week.

Serena Williams
Last week, Serena Williams was on the brink of making history by becoming the only woman after Steffi Graf in 1988 to complete a
Career Grand Slam, and also leveling the latter when it comes to total number of Majors in the Open Era, before being shown the doors by underdog Roberta Vinci. surprise

A devastated Serena packed off from the Flushing Meadows within half an hour, after a post-match interview that lasted only three minutes. It seemed like she will take some time to shake off the bad feelings.
But Serena proved us all wrong. In less than a week, she found herself basking in applauses – this time, it wasn’t on the tennis court, but the ramp. Serena - the designer proved to be as good as Serena - the sportsperson.

At New York Fashion Week, the World No: 1 tennis player unveiled her Signature Statement Collection – HSN line.
Fringes took centre stage of her collection, marked for its simplicity and elegance, targeting the youth. Serena stayed away from bright colours, opting for a monochrome palette, playing with colours like black, beige and copper.
Her sister Venus as well is a successful entrepreneur and designer. The Williams sisters revolutionised not just the game; they were considered iconoclasts for daring to experiment with their looks on the court. Their braided hair and designer outfits found fans and critics alike.

Back then, haters used to question the fashionista sisters’ lack of commitment towards the respected sport, but their credentials eventually silenced them.
Serena’s alleged beau Drake, was seen sitting right next to Anna Wintour during the event.
