President Buhari was part of the African leaders that attend the funeral of late Mathieu Kerekou former president of Republic
Benin who died on 14th October , 2015. He was president between 1972- 1991 and also reelected in 1996-2006.
      Other who attend his funeral were President Boni Yayi of Republic of Benin, President Faure Gnassingbe of Togo and President Muhammodou Issoufou of Republic of Niger the event was held at at Friendship Stadium in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
