Jos and it environs were in panic mood when thet got to know that the Lion had escape when it was about to be fed in the morning at about 8.03AM by one of the guard at the park, according to source the animal as been at the park since 1972.
The management of the park swing into action when it escape by informing the Joint task force (JTF) to help in getting that the animal before it attack any body in the city, the JTF were very luck to get the animal and then kill it immediately.
I can still remember that about 4 years ago i saw this Lion when i visited the park in Jos, we see different animals at the park and some of them respond very well but when we got to this Lion it was just sitting down and looking at us through out i remember that one of us ask the guard joking if they have fed the Lion and he reply that yes that is the first thing they do in the morning before they allow anybody in to the park, so that day we were force to take the picture of this Lion.
Below is the pictures taken when the Lion was alive at the wildlife park in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
